Fruitti Yummi Frozen Yogurt is Coming to Ridgewood!

Ridgewood is getting a new faux-Pinkberry yogurt shop! Signs for Fruitti Yummi recently went up outside the triangle-shaped storefront at Myrtle & Onderdonk — a space that previously housed fake-Starbucks coffee joint Esparks, which has three remaining locations in Queens and Long Island and isn’t very good. Interestingly, all Esparks locations sell froyo under the sub-brand “Parksberry,” so we’re not sure if Fruitti Yummi is a related venture or its own new thing. Either way, we’ll check it out and report back (there’s no mention of an opening date). It’ll be nice to have a vaguely Asian, sort of cool spot in the ‘hood! And if Fruitti Yummi isn’t so yummy, just buy a tub of organic Bulgarian yogurt from Parrot Coffee and make your own froyo.
